Pharmacist Renewals Open August 1st

It’s time to renew! Pharmacist renewals will open on August 1st.  Renewal information and links to the MOPRO online licensing portal will be e-mailed to all pharmacist licensees shortly. To renew, pharmacists must complete 30 hours of approved continuing education (CE) prior to renewing. See the Missouri Pharmacy Practice Guide for pharmacist CE requirements.  Renew early and check your CE to avoid delays.

2026 Missouri Pharmacy Law Review for Pharmacists-in-Charge Program

The Board will be hosting a two-hour webinar for Missouri pharmacists-in-charge (PIC) on July 23, 2026. Join the webinar to learn more about Missouri PIC responsibilities, inspector tips for PICs, regulatory requirements/changes, recent compliance and inspection trends, expanded scope of practice and patient safety best practices.  The program is intended for all PICs, whether you are a first time PIC or a seasoned veteran.

Sterile Compounding and Nuclear Pharmacy Rules Revisions Webinars

The Board will be hosting three Lunch with the Chief Inspector webinars to review the upcoming rule revisions affecting:

  • 20 CSR 2220-2.200 Sterile Compounding
  • 20 CSR 2220-2.500 Nuclear Pharmacy—Minimum Standards for Operation

The Board will be incorporating USP Chapters 797 and 825 in these revisions that take effect 7/30/2026.  A copy of both revised rules will be available on 6/30/2026 in the Code of State Regulations.
