Monitor Developmental Milestones

Early care and education providers play an important role in the health and development of children. CDC’s training course provides information and tips on monitoring the development of children 2 months to 5 years of age. Learn how to recognize developmental milestones and share concerns with parents and other caregivers. Earn FREE CE.

Promote Health and Academic Success

Schools can help keep kids healthy and safe. When students are healthy, they perform better in school and have more success in the future. This back-to-school season, view CDC’s e-learning series, Training Tools for Healthy Schools, to learn how you can promote physical activity and healthy eating in schools.

Keep Hands and Surfaces Clean

Regularly washing hands and cleaning surfaces and items can stop harmful germs from spreading in schools and educational settings. Learn about other strategies and tools for keeping hands and surfaces clean.

Additional Trainings & Resources

  • Prevent Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs). This school year, learn how to prevent ACEs with this training. Educators will be able to identify individual factors that may affect students’ health and help students improve their school performance and overall well-being.
  • Breastfeeding Support. Nutrition insecurity can lead to short- and long- term health outcomes that affect infants, toddlers, and birthing parents. The Continuity of Care in Breastfeeding Support Blueprint identifies strategies to improve local infrastructure support for breastfeeding families. Check out this training to learn about the important role of multisectoral partnerships in establishing continuity of care in breastfeeding support. Earn FREE CE.
  • Quality Training. Identify Quality Training provides indicators of quality that can help you determine if a training is right for you. 

Notes: Activities that offer continuing education (CE) from CDC are moving from TCEO to CDC TRAIN throughout 2024. If you do not already have a CDC TRAIN account, please create one. You will be able to access your previous CE records in TCEO through the end of 2025.
