  • Reduce tobacco use among youth. In 2022, nearly 1 in 9 middle and high school students reported using tobacco products and e-cigarettes were the most commonly used products. Learn about teen vaping and advocacy work in Los Angeles to ban the sale of flavored tobacco products in this webinar. Earn free CE.
  • Practice to improve your Partner Services interviewing skills. Disease intervention specialists (DIS) and other public health staff conduct Partner Services interviews for people with HIV or other sexually transmitted infections and their partners. If you are new to conducting partner services interviews, strengthen your interviewing skills and receive constructive feedback from CDC experts in live practice sessions. Sessions open on a rolling basis and are available in English and Spanish. Registration is limited.
  • Explore real-world guidance to modernize the U.S. public health system. In 2021, the Bipartisan Policy Center and leading public health organizations released Public Health Forward: Modernizing the U.S. Public Health System, a five-year roadmap. Learn how health departments have put the report’s recommendations into practice with the de Beaumont Foundation’s new interactive implementation guide. Topics include partnering for timely data, building a diverse workforce, and more.
