Hot Training Topic: Mpox

Unprecedented outbreaks of clade I mpox are occurring in Central and Eastern Africa. In September, CDC issued a Health Alert Network Update discussing the ongoing outbreak and prevention strategies for clade I mpox in Central and Eastern Africa. CDC has also developed a science bulletin explaining why expectations for the mpox burden in children in the United States are different than for children in areas affected by these outbreaks.
