The Honorary Doctorate is a global cultural project led by the Arab Translators Association (ARTA) for over twenty years. It aims to honor distinguished intellectual, cultural, and professional leaders. Throughout its journey, ARTA has recognized thousands of outstanding figures. This initiative follows the launch of the Ninth Honor Initiative a few months ago.

The ARTA Honorary Doctorate represents the highest honorary distinction in the Association’s history, carrying a legacy of cultural and humanitarian dedication and intellectual struggle.

Application Process

Fees and Contributions

• Standard fee: USD 2,000.

• Consideration may be given to academics, translators, and individuals facing difficult circumstances.

• University presidents, organizations, and translators’ associations: full exemption from fees.

• Business leaders are encouraged to support the Association with a contribution ranging from USD 2,000 to USD 10,000.
