My friend who is organizing invited me to give all of you the chance to reprise any of your Shakespeare performances, as well as jumping in as street characters and townsfolk (you get to invent your own character!). And yes, the renaissance dancing will still happen, I just had some issues finding a space for us to dance in!

Please let me know ASAP if you are interested, the Faire is January 25-26, and participation, of course, gets you free admission to the event.

Hope to hear from you!

Me and Cristina are interested! Where exactly is it? And would we need to be there both days?

Sounds like it's different than the meet we went to with you guys over the summer. Will you describe this one a little more to me?

But yes, it sounds fun, and as of now I am a maybe, and will most likely be a yes. :) Will you describe this one a little more to me?

Yes, this is quite different then the event we attended last summer! This is a full on ren-fest with Queen & King, jousting, musicians, vendors, etc! It is raising money to save Dragon's Point and hopefully restore a new dragon there.(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Merritt_Island_Dragon

This will be in Wickham Park, on the north side next to BCC where they have the pow-wows and Oktoberfest. Attendance on both days is not required, but is strongly preferred so we can know that we have two good days of entertainment for the folks paying to get in. However, one day is better than none. The group you guys met this summer will be there with an encampment, but this event is much bigger than our group.

The dance group I am putting together will have several 20-30 minute performances on both days. If you'd like to reprise your Shakespeare performances we will either include that with dancing or (if enough of you guys want to do it) you can have your own Shakespeare celebration show that's 20-30 minutes long. The option to be a roving character is also fun, and you can do that between performances on the different stages we're setting up throughout the fair.

Talk to your parents and let me know what works for you and what you want to do!

This sounds interesting and I would love to participate, but, January is going to be extremely hectic for me and I don't want to bring you guys down by my not being able to contribute, plus I don't think I will have time for it, so I think it would be best for me to not attend this one. Thanks for the invite though.

I'm interested, but I'll have to double check schedules and such. I'm pretty busy with a Pride and Prejudice. (With Jordan)

Oh, I guess that might be important… maybe the dancing, and a street character? But if you're short people for anything, I am more than happy to fill the spots!

Sorry to take so long to get back to you, I had a couple issues:

I have had trouble getting a space, but we will be practicing and can be this Wednesday at 7 pm, at the church space downtown.

Getting our times from the event planners took longer then expected. We're performing at 11 and 2:30 both days (Sat Jan 25 & Sun Jan 26), and are otherwise free and encouraged to roam and enjoy the fair, pretend to be renaissance characters or anything that you'd like.

Alyssa & Cristina, if you'd like to join us now that there is new info, that would be awesome, but I do understand. Since this is the first year of things getting put together it is a bit confusing.

The organizers told me that they have already sold hundreds of tickets, and there are some cool vendors I have heard about as well. It's going to be a fun time, and you can't beat free for admission.

Alright folks, I am meeting up with some other folks I have been talking to to get them started Wednesday at 7 PM. Connor and Maia, if you can make it that would be awesome! Bring any friends or family you think might enjoy themselves!

I meant to get back about this earlier (thought I believe it was assumed), that my current schedule overlaps and I will unfortunately not be able to participate. Best of luck and hope you all have a great time!
