Subject: September 18th Line Dance Social in Sarasota, FL
From: John Dembiec

I want to say a big THANK YOU for all the requests. I had over 80 dances requested. For a 4 hour social I can only get about 66-68 songs in. So for some people I had to leave between 2 to 5 songs off their requests and for this, I am really sorry I tried to pick songs that I feel most people would know. As always at my socials, if I don't have at least 3 people dancing to a dance, I move on after the chorus.
New address for Sara Dance Center is 2821 Cattlemen Rd. Sarasota, FL. GPS it. Best way is to take I-75 to Bee Ridge Rd. Turn west. 1st light is Cattlemen Rd. Take a right and go to the 2nd stop light and the new studio is in the business plaza on the right, next to ADT Security Services. Social is from 1-5PM and is $12 per person.
Here is your playlist:

Subject: Dancing at the Stockyard in Holiday, FL on 9/10

From: Neil Splain

(09/10) It was a glorious night of line dancing at The Stockyard! Maurice Rowe taught Clean Up To The Elbow by Guyton Mundy, Let Me Do My Thang by Trevor Thornton and Jason Turner, and Dancing On A Boat by Chatti The Valley and Adele Ortega. Jason GoodTime was awesome as he played everyone’s favorite dance tunes including Bar None, Sway, What She Wants Tonight, Moses Roses Toeses, MMM Bop, and American kids.

YELLOW ROSE OF TEXAS EXTRAVAGANZA UPDATE!

Guess what folks? It's already SEPTEMBER! The Yellow Rose will be here before we know it. Would you be excited to hear that we have put together a collection of classes to help you learn all the dances now?! We have 3 event sponsors dedicating multiple classes during the upcoming month of October to teach all the dances specifically for the Yellow Rose event. We want to encourage everyone to learn these dances and attend the mini-workshop closest to you!
*All proceeds from these dedicated classes will be donated to the Yellow Rose of Texas Extravaganza event fund too!*

Are you a Texas instructor with students interested in attending the Yellow Rose Extravaganza in February? Are you already teaching or planning to teach the dances in your own local classes? WE WANT TO KNOW! Send us your information for us to help you promote your classes! You can email your class details to yellowroseofte...@gmail.com and we will add it to our Yellow Rose distributions and Facebook page!

How to Vote in the Weekly Survey

List up to 8 of your favorites with choreographer and level if you know it and email to me at tka...@aol.com before 6:30 PM EDT on Sunday. Please add the choreographer and level of the dance if you know it.

Reminder from Carol

Please do not number the votes 1-8, send me extra things, or put the name on one line and the other information on another line, it saves me time because I have to erase all extra things and spacing and formatting before I can sort. Thanks, as always, for your votes. Classes, socials, and events are starting again and we NEED to know what dances most people will know or want to know so your vote is important.
