SUBJECT:  LINE DANCE WORKSHOP IN DURHAM, NC on March 2.

FROM:  Bonnie Mathews, linedan...@nc.rr.com

It's been quite awhile since we've had one of these, so we decided to do this again!  Our workshop has beginners in the morning and intermediates in the afternoon.  We have all local/regional instructors and all the proceeds ($5 per person donation for either or both sessions) go to Epworth United Methodist Church--the location of our workshop.  The address is:  3002 Hope Valley Road, Durham, NC 27707.  Our schedule is below:

There is no preregistration.  Doors open at 9:30 a.m.

Beginner Workshop from 10 to 12:30 with four instructors sharing the teaching duties:  BC Beach (New Bern, NC), Sue Ann Ehmann (Patrick Springs, VA), Barbara Everett (Thataways, Burlington, NC) and Kay Stecher (Roxboro, NC).   We have a transition period from 12:30 to 1:00 with open dancing for all levels, mostly beginner/improver dances to start.  We play all the requests we have time for!

Intermediate Workshop from 1:00 to 5:00 with current dances taught.  Instructors are:  BC Beach (New Bern, NC), Bonnie Mathews (Durham, NC), Karla Stith (Jacksonville, NC) and Susan Webb (Stantonsburg, NC).  We have open dancing to start the workshop off as well as between teaches and play as many requests as we can get to.

We have ice water in pitchers and serve coffee in the morning.  If you prefer something else to drink (no alcohol allowed!!), please bring it.  In addition to the $5 donation, we ask everyone to bring  a snack to share.  If you want to bring your breakfast and/or lunch, please do, as we have tables set up for everyone.  We do not have a lunch break since we have two separate workshops, but there are restaurants a short drive away should anyone want to go out to eat.

Please email me if you have questions!
