Friday, 12/17
I know it's only Friday but thanks to everyone who is voting early! PLEASE remember to vote by SUNDAY 6:30 PM EST . We had a low vote last week and maybe we can do better this week. Now that events and workshops and socials are starting back up in full force, it is important so we ALL be able to dance together and the surveys really do help to at least give you a clue about what to review or learn so you can dance all day and night long! Just list up to 8 of your favorite dances (they can be old or new dances) and email them to me at tka...@aol.com by Sunday evenings each week. Please use this format: Dance/Choreographer/Level (if you know the level)
THANKS, AS ALWAYS, FOR TAKING A MOMENT TO VOTE. Save your votes each week and you can add/change/delete as your favorites change. Even easier!
Here is last week's survey: http://worldlinedancenewsletter.com/survey.html

This is where I said my goodbyes and left for home with a smile on my face and the usual sore feet too!
HUGE THANKS to Melanie Cheever for some fun teaches as well as some great open dances before and during the teaches.
Thanks to Cheryl Hurlburt for helping in the DJ booth during the lessons and for her choices for some open dances.
Thanks to DJ Tommy for playing our requests when he took over the floor.
Thanks to our sweetheart of a bartender, Webb, who kept the drinks flowing while we were doing all that dancing.
Last but certainly not least, thanks to everyone who came to the Dallas Bull and danced with us tonight. I hope you all enjoyed yourselves as much as I did.
There will be lessons next Thursday, December 23rd, I am told, but I won't be there. I'll be traveling, but I was informed by Melanie that if she remembered, she would send me the music playlist and I let her know that if I remembered, I would TRY to post it!!! Remember, Thursday night is ladies night and ladies get free drink tickets with paid admission. I'm not sure who will be filling in for our bartender, Webb, but if it's who I think it is, you're going to love him. You'll just have to be there to find out, ladies!!!
To everyone reading this post, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. I'll see you all "next year!

We are now under a month for early bird pricing. I know holiday time is busy, so just a friendly reminder. Also, I have confirmed that the shoe store will be open in the morning, so if you need some dance shoes, great time to get some new shoes. If you are interested, please let me know ASAP for sizes so in the event she doesn't have it in stock, she can order them and have them there in time. (I'll post some pics of some of the available styles.) *NOTE: If you use PayPal, it will come up BigBoyDance, that is the correct account.

How to Vote in the Weekly Survey List up to 8 of your favorites with choreographer and level if you know it and email to me at tka...@aol.com before 6:30 PM EDT on Sunday. Please add the choreographer and level of the dance if you know it. |
Reminder from Carol Please do not number the votes 1-8, send me extra things, or put the name on one line and the other information on another line, it saves me time because I have to erase all extra things and spacing and formatting before I can sort. Thanks, as always, for your votes. Classes, socials, and events are starting again and we NEED to know what dances most people will know or want to know so your vote is important. |
