I'm enjoying some of the early videos from Steve Lescarbeau's SPRING BREAK going on this weekend.  Last weekend was H.O.T. in Texas and now Spring Break.  Another huge event, the  AUSTRALIAN COUNTRY DANCE FESTIVAL -- MAYWORTH  is also this weekend in New South Wales, and there are going to be some great new dances coming out of that one.  If you aren't on my Facebook Group you are missing lots of videos that people are posting.  Just click on FACEBOOK GROUP above to ask to join and I'll approve you.       See?  I told you it is TIME TO VOTE IN THE WEEKLY SURVEY!   Lots of events are starting to open up so PLEASE take time to vote this week.  If you do it today, then you won't have to think about it and if you keep your votes from week to week (just forward the email you send to me at tka...@aol.com to yourself at the same time).  List up to 8 dances you like and please use this format:   Dance/Choreographer/Level (if you know).  Click on PAST SURVEY above and you can see the previous surveys.

You will no longer need to qualify compete at World Dance Masters 2021. This years competition is open qualification. All other rules will still apply. At present we plan to offer all competitive divisions, though this is dependent on public health guidance. If we are unable to offer any division a full refund will be provided, the same also applies if you are unable to attend the event due to COVID travel restrictions. Click here to register https://worlds.wdm.dance/competition  Subject: www.atlantadanceweekly.com PLEASE send any future items to: atlantada...@gmail.com    THANKS   *********************************************        SUBJECT:  Johnny Johnson passed away April 20, 2021 FROM:  Judi Wynne (Judiw...@hotmail.com)    I am very saddened to let the line dance community know another wonderful line dancer and friend has left us to join the "angel line dancers" in heaven.    Johnny & his wife Bonnie (who died in 2016) were avid country dancers.  Together they taught dancing classes and traveled to line dancing workshops  around the country.  Even though he was on oxygen he continued to dance wearing a small portable oxygen concentrator in his backpack.  The pandemic forced him to stay home mostly until he got his vaccine shots.  As his lungs and heart became weaker, he remained interested in line dance and his line  dance friends here and elsewhere.  He was happy, active and not in pain.  He often talked about the good times we had line dancing.          Judi Wynne, Spinnin' Boots Line Dance Club Wichita, KS    Subject:   Dancing for the Dream From:  Scooter Lee Gilhaus   OK, Lubbock, TX 2021 is a go! Thanks, as always, for your votes. Classes, socials, and events are starting again and we NEED to know what dances most people will know or want to know so your vote is important.
