Subject: New Class coming to Murphy, North Carolina (taught by our own Nettie from Florida who now lives there.) Next week, join our newest instructor, Nettie Manzo, for Line Dancing! Classes will be held Tuesdays at 9am and Thursdays at 4:30pm in the Group X room. All levels of fitness welcome!
“Line dancing is an activity that can be enjoyed at every age. I have taught in grade schools and in retirement homes but most of my teaching was done in a community type room and a couple country western establishments. I have taught for over 20 years and enjoy it very much!
It elevates your heart rate for an extended period of time so while your mind is working to remember the steps, your physical health is benefitting also. Research shows it improves cardiovascular function, bone strength, and brain function. In addition, it helps with balance and coordination. “ - Nettie
Get ready to kick up your heels and move with Nettie starting May 4th at 9:30! #ResultsForEveryone
Note from me: If you want to learn to dance or want to dance in a fun class, I promise you will enjoy Nettie. We still miss her n Florida!

Subject: www.atlantadanceweekly.com PLEASE send any future items to: atlantada...@gmail.com THANKS ********************************************* SUBJECT: Johnny Johnson passed away April 20, 2021
FROM: Judi Wynne (Judiw...@hotmail.com)
I am very saddened to let the line dance community know another wonderful line dancer and friend has left us to join the "angel line dancers" in heaven. Johnny & his wife Bonnie (who died in 2016) were avid country dancers. Together they taught dancing classes and traveled to line dancing workshops around the country. Even though he was on oxygen he continued to dance wearing a small portable oxygen concentrator in his backpack. The pandemic
forced him to stay home mostly until he got his vaccine shots. As his lungs and heart became weaker, he remained interested in line dance and his line
dance friends here and elsewhere. He was happy, active and not in pain. He often talked about the good times we had line dancing.

How to Vote in the Weekly Survey List up to 8 of your favorites with choreographer and level if you know it and email to me at tka...@aol.com before 6:30 PM EDT on Sunday. Please add the choreographer and level of the dance if you know it. |
Reminder from Carol Please do not number the votes 1-8, send me extra things, or put the name on one line and the other information on another line, it saves me time because I have to erase all extra things and spacing and formatting before I can sort. Thanks, as always, for your votes. Classes, socials, and events are starting again and we NEED to know what dances most people will know or want to know so your vote is important. |
