i AM RESENDING THE NEWSLETTER BECAUSE THE FORMAT WAS REALLY MESSED UP. I like to include photos when I can but sometimes it really gets lost in translation. If you would like to send flyers or photos to be included in the newsletter, type your note to me and then send it to yourself first so you can see what it looks like and then you can forward it to me. Thanks for your help.
Here is the survey for the week of 9/19: http://worldlinedancenewsletter.com/survey.html I have Bill & Lynda McGee's address for anyone who would like to send a card. Just send me a note in FB Messenger or at tka...@aol.com and I'll send you the address. No further updates at this time. We are all wishing for a total recovery from his stroke and thinking about both of them.

Subject: Social in Sarasota, Florida, last weekend From: Neil Splain (09/18) What a great day of line dancing at The Sara Dance Studio with John Dembiec! He played plenty of open dance music including My Money, My Friend Named Jack, Askin’ Questions, Would Have Loved Her, Homegrown, Famous Friends, Blindsided, Broke, Little Less Broken, and I Was On A Boat.
SUBJECT: John Robinson's TEXAS MINI-TOUR, Longview
Woohoo! Got up bright and early to get ready for Monday’s workshop. Morning session was the easier lessons: I taught “Destination LOVE” (Ann-Kristin Sandberg), “Pour Decisions” and “Nobody Warned Me.” After a lunch break, the afternoon session was targeted to the more experienced dancers: I taught “Let ‘Em Talk (Who Cares?!)” and “Mississippi Countdown” (co-choreography with Kelly Cavallaro).
Everybody was fabulous! I’m so impressed that the beginner dancers attempted the first dance in the afternoon session.
Thank you very much to: Robin Illing Fisher for inviting me; Robin & David for allowing me to stay in their lovely home and the awesome post-event conversation; all the enthusiastic dancers who participated in the workshop; those who brought snacks for lunch; everyone who purchased items from my booth (Super J-Mart); and to the fun group who joined us for margaritas at El Sombrero afterward. You all made this day a very special one to remember.
Next stop: 7-9:50pm Tuesday with Yvonne Yeh at Tom Muehlenbeck Center, 5801 W Parker Road, Dallas.

How to Vote in the Weekly Survey List up to 8 of your favorites with choreographer and level if you know it and email to me at tka...@aol.com before 6:30 PM EDT on Sunday. Please add the choreographer and level of the dance if you know it. |
Reminder from Carol Please do not number the votes 1-8, send me extra things, or put the name on one line and the other information on another line, it saves me time because I have to erase all extra things and spacing and formatting before I can sort. Thanks, as always, for your votes. Classes, socials, and events are starting again and we NEED to know what dances most people will know or want to know so your vote is important. |
