Hi folks. I am currently working on a statistical analysis project. I am using the education data from the world bank. The sampling technique I am using for my project is Bootstrap logit regression. So I want to know the sampling size of the indicators, so that I can weight each of my factor. I believe this can affect my result a lot.  Do you have any idea about this?

That'd be great to know. See also [1].

Hi Shijia,

The indicators come from external primary sources and are only reported by the Education Statistics DataBank tool. I would suggest locating the source for each indicator in question and contacting them to see if they can provide further information on sampling methodology. Metadata can be accessed in the DataBank tool by clicking on the grey eye-shaped icon beside each indicator. This pulls up info like the following:

Series Barro-Lee: Average years of primary schooling, age 15+, female(BAR.PRM.SCHL.15UP.FE)
Indicator Name Barro-Lee: Average years of primary schooling, age 15+, female
Short definition Average years of primary schooling, 15+, female is the average years of primary education completed among females over age 15.
Long definition Average years of primary schooling, 15+, female is the average years of primary education completed among females over age 15.
