My app pulls both indicator data and widgets to display key country
statistics. The graph widgets work well and can be customized to pull
information by country, region and income level. But the widgets
that display maps seem to always show the 1W country (ie, whole
world). Is it possible to programmatically request a map widget that
displays a specific region?
Likewise, is it possible to pull a map widget of just the country with
its capital city, as is displayed on the WB Data Country pages?
Finally, it is possible to request a table widget that again displays
the data exactly like we see on the WB Data Country page, in which the
most recent year is larger font , followed by other recent years?
This table has a EMBED scissor icon in the corner, but the code
provided displays something else entirely.
On a related note, any play to document the widget API - (eg, what can
be passed to ?display=, valid values for country, date rang, etc)?
