Climate API 2000 - 2016

Dear All,

I'm slightly confused with this API, given:


Which works as the API stipulates that you have to use specific time ranges - but those time ranges don't include any years between 2000 and 2020!?

Can someone please advise on whether it's possible to get this data?

I think it's because that group of API endpoints provides future projections (from climate models) as opposed to actual observations. They are pretty careful about distinguishing between modeled forecasts and actual measurements because the methodologies are night and day.
