API for https requests

Hello!

Is there a plan to finally offer the API also through SSL? I am surprised an organization such as the World Bank does not offer an API in for https requests. 

Our client, the German development bank, runs a website in https and using your API, I receive "mixed content erors" and no values are shown through your API. 

So that means one can only use the API without encryption. 

Implementing a SSL certificate is not expensive and should be quite simple.
