Lanny Davis, in his Nov. 10 op-ed "The Way Forward in Honduras," correctly notes that it was Manuel Zelaya's efforts to arrange a referendum to allow the illegal extension of his presidential term that led the Honduran Supreme Court and Congress to order his removal from office, as was expressly required by the country's constitution.
