Storm Update

Hello Team,  

Is everyone alright?? Hope all of you and your families are safe and sound!

I just wanted to give you guys a few post-Sandy updates:

(1)  Martin has confirmed that class is still on for tomorrow.  Those who are stuck outside the city &  who are not able to make it onto campus are allowed to skype into our meeting. 

(2)  Pat has informed me that Lamont is currently running on emergency power & shuttle services has been halted until further notice.  Therefore, we will be moving both meetings to next week & I will stay in contact with them to let you guys know when that is.  

Thanks for your unrelenting efforts and apologies for any trouble this may have caused!  I will be sending out the agenda to you guys shortly.

[Tsechu Dolma]

Hi friends,

I still don't have electricity and wifi in my house. I texted Ariel this morning from some fire officer's phone. All the Starbucks and cafes were closed in my neighborhood. I've been using limited Internet frm my mother's smart phone. Con Ed said electricity should be up by Saturday or Sunday in my area so I'll update u guys around Monday.
