Dear Working Memory colleagues,
I'm writing to remind you that, this year, we will not hold the Working Memory Discussion Meeting, which usually takes place at Parcevall Hall.
This is because we can look forward to The International Conference on Working Memory. Held only every 10 years, this special conference celebrates the anniversary of the seminal publication of the Baddeley and Hitch (1974) framework for working memory.
The conference will be held in Leeds, UK, on 25th to 27th June 2024. At the conference website you may view our exciting list of international speakers, and find out about the location and conference history:

I wanted to flag up that registration is now open, but places are limited. Registration rates are inclusive of: conference attendance, lunch and refreshments across the three days, a welcome reception on the evening of Tuesday 25th, and the conference dinner at the Leeds Marriott Hotel on Wednesday 26th June. Early bird rates are: Student - £245; non-student - £295. Please note, the rate will increase after 31st March:
Please feel free to share news of this exciting international conference with any colleagues who may be interested.
I hope to see many of you in Leeds in June!
Wishing you a lovely weekend,
Louise Nicholls
(on behalf of the organising committee)
