The Better Bike Share Partnership is a collaboration funded by The JPB Foundation to build equitable and replicable shared micromobility systems. The partners include The City of Philadelphia, the National Association of City Transportation Officials (NACTO) and the PeopleForBikes Foundation. Initially funded in 2014 for a three-year period, The JPB Foundation has continued to support the program, most recently in 2020 for an additional three years.
In 2011, NOAA Fisheries implemented a catch share program for the West Coast Groundfish Trawl Fishery. The Pacific Coast Groundfish Fishery's Trawl Catch Share Program (Trawl Catch Share Program), also called the Trawl Rationalization Program, consists of an Individual Fishing Quota (IFQ) Program for the shorebased trawl fleet and cooperative programs for the at-sea mothership and catcher/processor trawl fleets.
The catch share program divides the amount of catch allocated to the trawl fishery into shares controlled by individual fishermen or groups of fishermen (cooperatives). Under this program, fishermen have more flexibility for harvesting their catch than under the previous management structure.
A quota share permit authorizes a person or group to own quota share. A quota share (QS) account is an account that contains QS allocations registered to the QS permit for Individual Fishing Quota (IFQ) and Individual Bycatch Quota (IBQ) species.
At the beginning of each calendar year, we issue quota pounds (QPs) to each QS account based on the sector allocation. For quota pounds to cover catch (landings and discards) by a vessel in the Shorebased IFQ program, the QS permit owner must transfer QPs from the quota share account to a vessel account. All QPs must be transferred to a vessel account by September 1 each year. Once QPs are transferred out of QS accounts, they cannot be transferred back into QS accounts.
We initially issued 138 quota share permits (and associated QS accounts) based on historical groundfish catch in the trawl fishery. Only these 138 QS owners currently can own quota share permits and quota share percentages. However, in the future, new applicants may apply for a QS permit/account and purchase quota share percentages from existing QS owners.
The Trawl Catch Share Program requires vessels participating in the Shorebased IFQ program to have observer coverage at all times the vessel is at sea. Observers participating in this program are employed by private third-party companies. Please contact the observer program for a list of current providers. The Northwest Fisheries Science Center oversees the West Coast Groundfish Observer Program and trains, certifies, and equips catch share observers; ensures data quality; and stores, maintains, and analyzes data collected by observers. The Northwest Fisheries Science Center oversees the observer program. It highlights best practices in station siting from around the United States and provides guidance on bike share station typologies and principles, providing examples of a variety of siting types and photos and technical drawings to show how bike share stations can be situated in the streetscape.
Data are available in either a Clinical Data Interchange Standards Consortium (CDISC) format or a Case Report Form (CRF) format. For some studies, both formats are available. For the CDISC format, prior to de-identifying the data, all data files are converted from their native format to a modified Study Data Tabulation Model (SDTM) standard format. This facilitates the pooling of shared data across completed studies, as the variable names are consistent across studies. For the CRF format, separate data files are created for each CRF collected in the study. This will make it easier for researchers interested in looking at all data from a single CRF in one data file, as the data files match the CRF exactly.
Manages shared resources. Used without parameters, net share displays information about all of the resources that are shared on the local computer. For each resource, the device name(s) or pathname(s) and a descriptive comment are displayed.
Creates the share with a security descriptor that gives the requested permissions to the specified user. The permissions that can be granted to a user are: read, change or full. This option may be used more than once to give share permissions to multiple users.
When you display all the shared resources on a computer, the share name of each resource, the device names or path that are associated with the resource, and a descriptive comment about the resource appear. The output is similar to the following:
As you create shares on a server, they are saved. When you stop the Server service, all shares are disconnected, but they are reconnected automatically when the computer is restarted. For more information about services, see Related Topics.
The Farm Share Program provides fresh, local foods to Vermonters in need of financial assistance via CSA shares reduced 25-75% in cost. When you sign up for a CSA at a farm, you pay in advance for a portion (or "share") of the farm's upcoming harvest and receive a regular box of farm-fresh food all season long. This sales model provides participants with consistent access to local, in-season food and provides predictable income for farmers.
Note: At the 50% discount level, we can provide up to $350 off of a share. At the 75% discount level, we can provide up to $525 off of a share. Please note that we may not have enough funding for all 75% requests.
CSA (also known as Community Supported Agriculture) is a sales model that connects people directly with farmers. When you sign up for a CSA at a farm, you pay in advance for a portion (or "share") of the farm's upcoming harvest. CSA members will receive a regular (often weekly) box of farm-fresh food all season long. In addition to having a steady supply of in-season produce, you directly support local farmers and typically spend less money than when buying produce from a store.
Vermonters who require financial assistance in purchasing a CSA share may apply for the Farm Share Program. Below are income guidelines based on 185% of Federal Poverty Guidelines. If your income falls within this bracket, we encourage you to apply for the program. However, we understand that other factors influence your ability to pay for a CSA share (e.g., medical expenses, childcare, immigration-related expenses), and anyone is welcome to apply. Please consider your available resources when making your decision and do what feels right. We do not require proof of income as part of the application.
