Does the extension 'Enabled' on page 'Tools'->'Extensions' ? Did you try to restart Chrome ?

I'm having the same problem.  It's enabled in Extensions but I see no tools under options or I've tried using #red etc... and nothing changes.  Help please.

Are you trying it in the Chrome Extension for Workflowy? That won't work. This plugin only works using Workflowy in a regular browser window.
