Employ-Ability Has 2 seats left in the pre-employment program for
Participants with Physical Disabilities

Do you have clients that have been dealing with long term unemployment
as the result of injury or illness? Do they have arthritis, MS, had a
stroke, low vision or one of many other physical issues such as the
results of an injury or illness? The Employ-Ability program offers is
a program that provides group and supportive learning environment.
The EA program helps clients overcome obstacles and barriers created
by a physical disability and prepare them for employment, whether
their goal is for full time or part time employment, return to
education or self employment.
On completion of the program clients will work with our Employment
Specialist as ongoing support to reach their goal. Transportation
costs may be provided if needed.
How do people get started?
Clients may self refer and call to book an appointment to talk to us.
The major qualification is that they have a physical disability that
is seen as a barrier to employment and have been unemployed or
underemployed for 20 hours or less a week for the last 3 years.
Course Start Date
The next session starts on September 27, 2010. The program is 12 weeks
long. Classes are held Monday to Friday from 10:00am to 3:30pm
