We just released a new version of the Android client, which includes:

**New notification system (doesn't appear to be working very well.
Please be patient as we try to get it working.)
**Rematch feature
**Refresh menu option on the Title Screen, in case login fails
**Various fixes for memory issues

Just released: v1.22!

New features include:

*Added tile values and distribution information to instructions
*Added Stats and Leaderboard buttons to Title Screen
*Volume of sound effects is now the same as ringtone volume,
controlled by hardware volume buttons
*Pan while zoomed in by clicking and dragging board
*Shuffle rack by shaking device or selecting Menu>Shuffle
*Tile interaction with board while zoomed out now shifts with
horizontal position

Our number one feature request is automatic notifications, and we're
working hard on implementing it. Hopefully we'll be able to have it in
the next release.

Can you tell me how to update my game to this latest version? Thank
you!

You should just go to the Market on your Android device and click
"Downloads" and it ought to list all your downloaded apps and tell you which
ones have updates ready.

This update is currently for the Pro version. If you have purchased
WordWise Pro via the market, you will get a system notification
informing you that an update is available. You can also go to the
market listing for the app and manually update from there.

Today we released v1.24 of the client. The big news is that this
version supports users on versions 1.5 and 1.6 of Android!

Hopefully the new client will work well with these previous versions.
We've done a good amount of testing, but if you run into any problems,
please let us know here. We're especially interested in making sure
the app is actually visible to users on these versions. Let us know if
you have any problems seeing the app from your market interface.

Other changes in this version:

*Added a "Play Word" button to the game screen.
*Fixed a bug that reported a loss when the opponent resigned but had a
higher score.

So, please tell me if I understand correctly...if I resign a stale
game to free my menu of people who have gotten behind and quit on me
(funny how they don't quit when winning), these resignations will not
count as losses? I would hate to mess up my W/L ratio to get rid these
apparently abandoned games. Thanks for this game, I so love it!

I know everytime I resign I lose regardless of score. Even when there hasn't been a move in weeks.
