Thanks for sharing, Mary. You signed up for a discussion group for the game "Word Wise." It doesn't matter whether you have it installed anymore or not. YOU chose to sign up for the email list. Admittedly, there needs to be a footer at the end of each email with a link to unsubscribe. That is bad form (and possibly illegal).

That said, I have had just about enough of you idiots who have no idea how a discussion email list works.

Dave Lewis, you, sir, are what most people refer to as an asshole.

Why exactly? I'm among the nicest, most helpful people on the planet. And sometimes that requires being slightly stern with people to remind them of what they are doing.

I may not know what I'm doing, but I do know what I don't want. If this were a good discussion group, you would have had the patience to explain to us idiots how these groups work!  Instead you insult us and take for granted we beginners know what we are doing.  This 'idiot' is looking for an unsubscribe button.

"...I have had just about enough of you idiots who have no idea how a discussion email list works."
Slightly stern?
A: ever think that it might be possible that there are people who maybe have just recently gotten into this sort of thing (computers, email, online games and such) and therefore , are just beginning to learn about how these things work. Or maybe that there actually ARE people who are just a little slower than the average person.
B: apparently you consider yourself far, far more intelligent than most any other person on the planet. Pomposity and out of control arrogance are generally not considered desirable traits.

I apologize, Mary. Truly. It's just that your email came at the tail end of barrage of dumb ones. I'm not the developer by any means, just an avid fan of the game. I do apologize. To get off the list, you need to go to http://www.googlegroups.com, sign in, then look for the Word Wise group.
It's  a little complicated, but you can click on it and then look for a link to manage settings. Within that, there is an unsubscribe link. I truly hope the developer is monitoring this list, as an unsubscribe link has to be at the bottom of all these discussion emails.

I would just like to say I think all of you are very intellectual people and should check out words with friends. It surpasses this game incredibly
