Oddly enough, I haven't played Boggle once with friends in the last 3
years that I've been coming to this WW site. You'd think that with
the hour-a-day fanatical training I'd be pretty killer at it, but I
wouldn't want to use many of the words I use/learned with this game.

I think that friends would not look positively at my using words like:
TACE, INRO, HOLM, SORD, PHPHT, and so on... I better have memorized
their meaning if I'm going to use them, and even then! I think that I
would get around the problem by mostly only playing 5+ letter words,
avoiding 3-letter words, and only playing commonly known 4-letter
words (to neutralize their scores, as per the Board game rules), just
so that it doesn't look like I'm cheating and making up words...

Have you played? How'd it go, when playing with 'non-professionals'?

(FlyingJoe Posting for Cacky):
My husband and I actually got our old Boggle board
game out and played it recently. Wordwiggle helped
helped us out as our vocabulary has increased.
Haven't played with any non-wigglers yet.
