Time for another challenge! We're up to Number 7!!

What words don't have any vowels, nor the letter Y?
In my "Must-Read" posts, I had shared a list of three-letter vowel-
less words (words that don't include A,E,I,O, U nor the letter Y):
brr, cwm, hmm, nth, pht, shh, tsk

Now just to show that I have absolutely no life, I went through all of
the four-letter words in the WW dictionary and found 4 vowel-less
words of 4 letters in length. These are the ones that you might have
come across while playing - So best of luck to you in identifying any
of these!
(Ohhh, and you want some proof that I actually went through the
dictionary, do you? OK. OK. There are 3,901 four-letter words in
that dictionary. How's that?)

AND I will consider ANY answer where the word has 5 letters or more as
absolutely amazing and will automatically award the usual excellent
Fan Club Grand Prizes for each one of these. To date, I've only found
one vowel-less word with more than 4 letters and it has 7 letters in
it! (Note - I haven't really been looking, so I expect that there are
more 5+ length words out there).

I'll offer one REALLY BIG HINT that'll help you with 3 of the four-
letter words and also with the seven-letter word: They are variations
of some of the 3-letter length vowel-less words, above...

I would just love for everyone to find a winner on this one... :-)

I cheated and looked at the 7 letter word lists.

"Tsk" I hear you all say ;-)

I did come up with RHYTHMS originally, but forgot that Y wasn't
allowed.

Dorp had sent me an e-mail on January 30th where s/he said:

"TSKTSK and TSKTSKS are good. PFFT and PSST.
I'm a Scrabbler, so it's useful that I know these."

So Congratulations to both SpursKevin and to Dorp!

The complete list of solutions that I've found that are in the WW
dictionary are:
BRRR CWMS PFFT PSST
TSKS TSKTSK TSKTSKS

And now for my disclaimer from hard lessons learned at this site:
Somehow, there always seem to be more answers out there that I've
missed,
so I'm guessing that this list still isn't complete, just to spite
me! ;-)

Well, it is not fair using egrep to get the answer, but here it is:

All of the non-vowel containing words in the dictionary if you don't
count Y (sorted by lenght):

2 hm
2 mm
2 sh
3 brr
3 cwm
3 hmm
3 nth
3 pht
3 shh
3 tsk
4 brrr
4 cwms
4 pfft
4 psst
4 tsks
5 crwth
5 phpht
6 crwths
6 tsktsk
7 tsktsks

Note that if you do count Y you get many more but still none over 7
characters.

(Here are the 6 and 7 character ones far too many others)

6 crwths
6 crypts
6 flybys
6 flysch
6 ghylls
6 glycyl
6 glyphs
6 lymphs
6 myrrhs
6 nymphs
6 psychs
6 rhythm
6 spryly
6 sylphs
6 sylphy
6 synchs
6 synths
6 syzygy
6 trysts
6 tsktsk
6 xylyls
7 glycyls
7 rhythms
7 tsktsks

Thanks to Michael giving us a complete list of the vowel-less words!
So I thought that I would try to make a Challenge/teaching aid around
it by putting them all in one WW Board. I guess with the list below,
it's more like a word search game, but how often can you do something
like this without a single vowel?

Unfortunately, in order to get all of the vowelless words in there, I
didn't manage to make them very well hidden in the grid. I had tried
a few times with a tougher layout, but each time I would end up where
I couldn't get one of the words in there. Arrgh!
