Menu Items Missing

Platform: Android 4.0.3

Device: Samsung Galaxy S2 GT-I9100

Whenever I FIRST go into an actual game screen, and hit the phone's "menu" button (soft key to left of main physical button) to bring up the Menu where Chat etc. is located, the following items are missing:

Resign Game

Chat

If I then press the button twice more (to close and re-open the Menu), it appears with the missing items on it as well.

If I exit that "game" back to the main menu, and come into the same or any other game again, the menu items are always missing first time.  I've gotten used to tapping the menu button 3 times as a habit :)
