"HOPE DOES NOT DISAPPOINT US"

2/11/25

Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us. Romans 5

13 And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love. 1 Cor. 13

As we prepare for the times and seasons that we are in, we must still find hope. We hear about the deterioration and dismantling of our constitution and government. We must somehow see beyond our present circumstances, and to find sustenance, even in and through the present turmoil and chaos.

Perhaps this sounds impossible to do, and yet are we not called to see beyond the confines of this world, knowing that God will indeed, be with those who put their faith and hope in Him? Even though we hear how many of the needed programs for the poor and needy, are being slashed, and as the richest man in the world attempts to gain access to the federal payment system, we must still know that somehow our faith will see us through these difficult days. I truly believe that we have entered into the early stages of the tribulation period. And yet I know that we are called to "endure unto the end."

I don't believe that we will be "whisked" away from these very difficult days ahead. However, I do know that we will be sustained, protected, and given great insight and wisdom as to know how to "endure unto the end."  Indeed, it is true that many are asleep and are without spiritual eyes to see the obvious signs and earmarks of what is truly happening around us. We are told that "Matt. 24: 24 For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect."

We know that even nature is always in a state of flux and change. Every season offers us change, as the Winter winds and snow, eventually melt and turn into Spring. We've heard the phrase, "Hope springs eternal," and with this assurance, we should know that even though the mountains crumble and fall into the sea, the word of God will go on forever.

It may not seem like this assurance would sustain us during these days, and yet there are unforseen forces that we must believe in, and have hope in. "In this world will have tribulation, but be of good cheer, for I have overcome the world."

(I've updated the website, and now all of the prophetic words are documented in the prophecy section, going back 33-34 years. Also, the recent book is available on the website.)
