"WHERE ARE THOSE WHO WOULD SPEAK THE TRUTH IN THIS HOUR?
I find myself thinking lately and asking the question, "Where are those true prophetic voices in this hour?" Over the last 10 years I have watched, and listened to the voices that still reecho the same worn-out theme of how this person will achieve what God truly wants. And now I shake my head in dismay knowing that yet again, they are speaking lies and not the truth.
I have heard again and again with the twisting of scripture and the cult-like adherence to everything that goes against common decency and God's word. I'm sick of it for many reasons and yet it continues. It's bathed in some kind of smoke-and-mirrors pronouncements of a myriad of half-baked promises. I guess I've hoped that some would have gained some real discernment and insight into these things, but they're still drinking the kool-aide and eating the same rotten meat.
It's a group mentality actually. Once a person jumps on the train then the rails will stay on the track and carry them into more and more deceit and empty promises. Some of this comes from a hatred of anything that is seemingly liberal. It's like the person is projecting the idea of a right-wing Jesus who carries a gun and wears a red Maga hat is the actual role of our Lord. And yet we should know that He came for the lost and the forsaken. He came for those who had been battered and hurt from the world's wounds.
Since when did it become an issue to show compassion or empathy? But evidently these attributes are a sign of weakness. Many would not exhibit these characteristics because then they couldn't be part of the group. For these qualities are no longer needed. That would show a weakness in the armor and prevent the person from achieving their goals and arrogant plans they may have.
Many of these supposed "prophets" wouldn't notice Jesus if He came to their church. They actually would have labeled Him as a "liberal." Give Him a gun and dress Him up so that He stands for what we want Him to be! Perhaps they're no different than the Jews who looked for a Jesus that would deliver them and give them peace. Little did they know that His kingdom is an everlasting one and not of this world.
So when you hear of a national day of prayer or see some praying in the White House with Trump, know that they are exalting their new king who is not Jesus, but rather, exalting the one who comes not to heal but to destroy.
Now take up your stones and rocks and hurl them at me, for I'm sure that some of this is surely blasphemy.
