YOU ARE DIVIDED RIGHT DOWN THE MIDDLE

“And Jesus knew their thoughts, and said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand:” Matt 12:25
"You are divided right down the middle. You are divided from rich and poor--you are divided from black and white. You are divided from Republican and Democrat. You are divided from this and you are divided from that. And yet you wonder why you are such a divided nation. It's because you put your emphasis upon earthly things.
You dress yourselves up in the finest of clothes. You go to the most prestigious schools. You have the best of things; and you scowl at those who have little. You pretend to believe in Me but your words are bathed are pretension.
But I say to you because you are rich, that you are poor and ragged. For beauty is not to be found in apparel or the finest things in this life; but rather it is to be found in those things that are everlasting.
To become a nation that is united can only be found in those things that you share in common. And to find what those things are requires you to look for those things that are good in each other. What are those things that you share in common? Are they in hating and throwing insults at each other? Are they in proclaiming that one group is better than another?
You see, you will remain divided. The cure is not found within the medicine that you take. The cure can only be found in looking for the good in each other. "
