15 So she went away and did according to the word of Elijah; and she and he and her household ate for many days. 16 The bin of flour was not used up, nor did the jar of oil run dry, according to the word of the Lord which He spoke by Elijah. I Kings 17
"I AM the King of your land and there is no other. The ruthlessness and abandonment of human decency and hypocrisy, is the earmark of this present administration. But I tell you that I can bring you hope and a future. I AM the only true king, says the Lord.
There will come a time when your sorrow will be turned into joy. There will come a time when the storehouse will be overflowing. The widow at Zarephrath found this out when the prophet came to her. For the oil and the grain did not run out. When all appears to be lost, I can replenish your storehouse. I can extend the grain and I can keep you replenished.
I AM He who owns the cattle on a thousand hills. I AM He who controls the storms. I AM He who sets up kings, and I AM He who causes them to fall. So, just because everything appears to be dark around you, just know that I can lift you up. I can sit you upon a rock, and I can give you strength for the days ahead. Indeed, these are very dark days; perhaps like none other in historys, but I AM still King, says the Lord. "
