Help: NextGen-gallery album thumbnails became too small after upgrade to NGG 2

I've reported a problem that others are grappling with on
The site with the NGG album size issue can be seen on http://andersenceramics.com/showcase/
I'm using the compact-box layout and tried hardcoding the ../plugins/nextgen-gallery/products/photocrati-nextgen/modules/nextgen_basic_album/adapter.nextgen_basic_album_controller.php
But the thumbnails remain small.
It's been three days and no solutions have yet been offered on the WordPress forum. I am wondering if any wordpress-austin folk can please offer any suggestions?

No one on the WordPress-Austin responded, but today I got a response on wordpress.org's forum from the developer of the nextgen-gallery plugin. @photocrati will be fixing the problem with the album thumbs in the next (beta) release.

Hopefully bugs will be worked out next release.
