Does the Forza development team understand racing? Or are they just the Xbox graphic engine developers? Good graphics are appreciated, and it seems the driving experience has improved this time. However, for a game that promotes circuit racing and took 6 years to release, I never expected it to lack the basics of racing.
Even just leveraging the current practice sessions, but letting us select starting grid as either fastest lap or inverse of fastest lap would be great. Chance to learn the track and then get a quali order.
All experiences in the game should be same and not discriminated against each experience. It makes no sense that we can experience practice and qualifying only in featured multiplayer, but not in private multiplayer session. The developer has been developing Forza Motorsport for 6 years focused on motorsports aspect. However, private multiplayer features are quite disappointing as it was before. We are not just want simple, light driving game. WE WANT MOTORSPORTS GAME.
yeah i totally agree with this I was really disappointed to find out how shallow private multiplayer lobbies are. In GT I have a group of friends that we do regular races with. We setup full race weekends with practice, qualy and a race that usually lasts for about 2 hours.
Such a huge missed opportunity here I hope it can be added and improved as it really lags behind the competition.
Don't worry - it's quick and painless! Just click below, and once you're logged in we'll bring you right back here and post your question. We'll remember what you've already typed in so you won't have to do it again.
I am using the Spotify Web App and the private session option does not appear in the top-right dropdown menu nor does it appear in settings. (In fact, nothing is in settings aside from the language selection option)
He's probably using an alt account or something, because no, he is not allowed to do so.
Also, seeing the comments, he is now giving the idea to a lot of people that it is safe to do in private session for GTA:O which is totally wrong.
If you're looking to get an achievment for it I reccomend just doing it the normal way, it's way more fun and becomes a challenge. Hop on the train and let people chase you or just do your normal thing tryna take down anyone who comes your way.
Simple really. Allow R* to kill them. Use your real life smartphone and take a snapshot of their gamer tag info from the player menu. Then record their hijinx antics with the same said smart phone for several minutes. Finally send the video & photo evidence in an email to R* banhammer email address. Wait a day or two and check their defunct RGSC profile. Profit. Got rid of over a dozen hackers that way without wasting any bullets. However, if you insist on trying to f*ck with someone who is clearly violating their TOS, then be prepared to be repeatedly raped and spawn killed by UFOs on every server you try to escape to....
Pretty much answered. In saying that it is rarely worth it unless your bored or need to do something away from prying eyes. Something I've done is exchange bounties with another target (make sure you kill the other guy first).
Waiting out bounties set by someone else is great because the person practically gave me their money, unless it's a $1000 bounty, then I message low levels to come kill me because that's chump change.
A few weeks ago I was idiling while in passive mode and got a message from another player in-game asking if I was glitching. I had to ask him what he was talking about to even find out that some idiot had decided to put a bounty on me for no reason whatsoever. Once I came out of passive mode it gave me the notifications that someone had placed a bounty on me.
Once you have the bounty on you, there is no way to go into passive (unless you decide to hack your way into it I guess) until either someone claims the bounty or you survive it - also if someone is in the middle of putting a bounty on you, and you try to go into passive mode before the game actually places the bounty on you, it won't let you do so - it will give you the message about not being able to enable passive mode while you have a bounty on you.
so if you are playing on next gen, the players that you reported likely had no clue that they had a bounty on them and was/are as innocent as can be, and you could be banned for falsely reporting players.
Another reason, that I might use more frequently now, is because when the 4 players come out of a heist, some asshole always tries to kill everybody else. It's a sure thing that I will get killed by that asshole if I have a bounty. Once again, it's not about getting killed, it's about denying an asshole any satisfaction.
Honestly though, what are you going to do with $7000 that you can't do with $3000? Are people that poor in this game? Like others have said, I just don't understand the logic of people hiding in their apartments with a bounty on them for the best part of an hour just to claim such a tiny amount of money. Each to their own I guess, it's your electricity.
Mostly true. Personally, I typically enter and leave Invite Only after doing missions and other activities. I don't venture into public lobbies often, so this isn't usually a problem for me. Regardless, this status is something you would immediately realize if you're as neurotic as I am in checking passive mode status. lol. And like you said, you'll definitely will know the next time you go online (assuming you don't get killed first). Which is why I always log on to invite only sessions and have my char spawn in the security of his safe house. Just in case.
However you would definitely know for sure if other players openly mention or discuss it over the mike. Even better when they brag about in the public session while god modding and messing with other ppl's characters. And you would 100% know for sure if you found yourself on a deserted public lobby with exactly one other player. And that player was in their safe house with a bounty on them. And you were out in Paletto Bay minding your own business buying food after completing a heist mission. When suddenly you found your character being picked up and slammed into the floor of the store by an invisible force. And had this repeatedly happen until they died..... And found your character was repeatedly being thrown high into the air, released to fall indefinitely through the map floor, and rag dolled around the map. Setting your char on fire by putting a flamming car tire around their waist etc. etc. Basically proving that you couldn't control your character at all. And out of pure coincidence, this bizarre behavior mysteriously ended when that one other player (again with said bounty on them) left the server.
Contrary to what you said, I've run into script kiddie hackers who use some version of the post 1.28 update of the MMO mod. One self claimed professional hacker I overheard in a session last week, actually confessed he was flunking Chem had to leave soon. I hoped this was presumably to do his homework (which he didn't state). Anyhow, pressing irl matters caused him to abandon the session shortly afterwards. Basically leaving his psychotic god mode buddy to finish annihilating the majority of players in that public session. Most players simply ended up switching sessions and leaving him to his dumb asshattery in free roam. Perhaps others like me-- after getting concrete video evidence to email R* later of this idiot's hacking TOS violations--withdrew to the safety of Invite Only sessions. Lot simpler rather than put up with dealing with the headache of that kind of sh*t. lol
