Dear friends in Christ,
A couple of things to share as we approach All Saints Sunday:
1) Tomorrow, Friday, October 30th a lunch is being offered for all members (I think it would be safe to bring a friend if you know of someone that would enjoy the fellowship) beginning at 11:00 A.M. Stop by the church to enjoy great food, (you already know we have some great cooks!! J) and equally as great conversation along with the joy of just being together!!
2) Sunday worship- this is the Sunday we remember all the baptized during the year as well as those who have completed the baptismal circle and joined the saints in eternity with our Lord Almighty! Service of course is at 9:30. During the service the names will be read and everyone will be invited to come forward to light a candle in remembrance of loved ones gone on ahead. Immediately following worship, the Adam’s Rib group is providing a delicious breakfast for everyone. All ages welcome- there are activities for the kids after breakfast in fellowship hall. Sunday School will meet downstairs, have breakfast and be together there for the day.
3) Scriptures for Sunday are:
a. Revelation 21:1-6a
b. Psalm 24
c. John 11:32-44- the story of Lazurus coming alive
