I've looked through the FAQs but didn't see an answer for this. Does
a wordle have to be finished in one sitting, or can you save it and
add to it at a later time? I can think of lots of ways to use this in
school, but all would require the ability to create the wordle over a
span of several class periods. If you have used this in the
classroom, what did you do if a student didn't finish?

Thanks for the info...Denise

Denise:

I save my wordle progress in a MSWord file, so I can add/subtract/edit
any time I want and then just copy and paste what I want when I'm
ready to go. There are probably more efficient ways, but this works
for me.

I treat Wordle like an email I want to really think about- I build it
in a word processor like Word or TextEdit or NotePad and save THAT
document. By using the third party software I am able to spellcheck,
assign weights to certain words and of course SAVE!. Typically, I
move between the two checking that things are developing visually the
way I'd like them to. Make sense? This also allows me to copy the
Wordle preferences into the document in the "Get Info" window (sorry
Mac centric) that follows the document from place to place and machine
to machine. That allows me to recreate it (the Wordle) any time.
