Apologies if these question have been asked before, I did have a look
to see.

Would it be possible in future versions to be able to align at least
the horizontal words, so that staggering doesn't throw off words and
create random spaces? I'd like to use the colour settings to define
the words themselves rather than letting the layout differentiate
words.

Also could we let the colour to word assignment be randomized?

Many thanks.
Benjamin.

Benjamin,
If you want the words to be aligned more with less open space, try adding more words or making the window smaller or a different aspect ratio and re-randomizing.
If I am understanding your remaining questions, what you are asking can be done using the advanced tab to enter your data.

Surely if you want the word-cloud displayed with particular order or
alignment you are somewhat missing the point of 'Wordle'?? Try creating your
word cloud physically in another DTP application!!

Thanks Kay, I'll have a look.
Murray, you have a very valid point! I guess you can keep tinkering
and requesting until it's design by default. Trying to control random
factors is a human trait I suppose.
