Hello All,
Besides, wanted to mention that layout 'Any Which Way' produces output
that is a bit too flattened on top and down. I mean words are mostly
stretched from the left to right, and top and bottom of the screen
aren't used much. The picture simply doesn't employ the whole screen
properly. Would it be possible to somehow change the template so that
the whole screen is used, and the words aren't just put in the center
of the screen but in corners as well?
Thank you

That's just the nature of the Wordle algorithm. You might try http://tagxedo.com, which has far more flexible layout options.

Thanks I've came across that side already. But it doesn't allow
specifying color for each word/phrase in custom hex format) It doesn't
allow phrases as well, I think, just words. I prefer wordle, but would
much appreciate if developers could optimize (or, better, customize)
the "Any Which Way" layout, would much appreciate.. tks anyway!

Try Photoshop or Paint Shop Pro Or even WORD where you have full control
over colors and the way you place the words.
I still like the unexpected results in Wordle and continue till I have
something I like (but that is me).

Well when you have 200 phrases Photoshop/Word becomes too time-
consuming)))

deepdish,
You may not realize this but Jonathan (the developer) has already
answered you. If you read the wordle blog you will learn that there
are no plans to continue adding features to wordle.
Your best bet is probably going to be combining programs. For
instance, use wordle for your initial layout and then use a vector
editor like Inkscape or Illustrator to tweak the layout to better suit
you. Or use tagxedo for the layout and then use a photo editor to
change the colors to your specifications. Good luck with your project.
