Kindle Collections

Thanks for this very very useful and elegant software.

One thing that occurred to me immediately -- the ability to download
articles individually would be made (even) more usable if one could
add them (per Instapaper folder) to Kindle collections as they came
in. That way, if you have a lot of downloads coming in, they don't
take over your Kindle home screen.

I'm not sure if this is possible -- although there is a Calibre plugin
that allows management of collections via the Calibre gui.

Hi Vikram,

Thanks for pointing out that plugin. It might be possible, but I
haven't investigated the plugin fully. From the comments it looks
like several people are having issues making it work. When I
researched collection management in the past, the issue was that you
have to completely destroy and recreate the collections file, and (I
think) actually reset the Kindle, which is a little to heavyweight for
a simple Instapaper management program. I'll keep my eye on it,
though.
