WordCamp Locations

I have been doing some digging into locations for the wordcamp at UAB
and the Alys Stephens center. Here is what I have found so far.
Cudsworth Hall - 350 (free to use but need security)
Sirote @ Alys Stephens - 350 (don't know price yet)
Jemison @ Alys stephens - 1300 (don't know price)
For 500 we would either need to use the Jemison or the arena if we
went with a UAB place. We can probably find some more places at UAB if
we limit it to 300.
thoughts? anyone talked to B&A warehouse or other places?

I finally heard from Lee Carmen at Samford (campus registration logistical
nightmares).
Her suggestion was for Wright Center (concert hall). She didn't mention
connection status in her voicemail, but I'm sure such a venue would have
at least one.
She didn't say it whether was available or not (probably a good sign), or
mention
a cost for the venue. If you claim it this far out, chances are good for
reserving it
if all other options fail.
I've gone back to my day job, and extended phone use is risky at best. I
wanted to
send her number forward so someone else could follow up with her to pursue
possibilities for this site during her business hours.
