Hey All,

I'm looking into calling venues on Monday. If I was to schedule a time that people in Melbourne wanted to go look, does anyone have a preferred day during the week?

I'm going to call the State Library of Victoria and RMIT to try and clarify their availability and operating cost. Does anyone have any connections at any universities? I think I've asked before.. but I'll give it a shot again just t try :)

Another possibility for a venue I've just lurched on is http://www.zoosvictoriafunctions.com.au/.

I know it's... a Zoo. But the more I think about it, the more I think that it would be an awesome venue. It's in a very central location (Parkville) and I think it would be the first WordCamp held at a...Zoo as an added bonus :).
