Below is an email invite for the Ciclovida Delegation to Brazil Fundraising event. Please distribute far and wide!
Hello!
Please join Ciclovida:Lifecycle, an International Group of Activists, Landless Farmers and Filmmakers for a benefit dinner, movie and live performances! There will be good food, exciting music and a pedal powered screening of the award winning documentary film, Ciclovida:Lifecycle.
Location: The shop at 97d Webster street, Worcester
Date: Friday, December 16
Time: 6-11 PM
6PM Dinner party and raffle ($10 suggested donation includes delicious dinner and dessert)
7PM Pedal powered screening of Ciclovida: Lifecycle (FREE)
9PM LIVE MUSIC/dance party (FREE)
Funds raised will help to send grassroots activists on an International Delegation to Brazil this January 2012. Our goal is to strengthen international solidarity and experience sustainability in the deepest sense: a new relationship with the land. Highlights from the delegation include: a comprehensive natural building workshop, visits to indigenous communities, Portuguese language exchange, forest garden workshops and much more.
How you can help:
1) Spread the word to your networks and/or email lists about this event.
2) Print and distribute the flier attached to this email.
2) Donate to our Scholarship fund to allow grassroots activists to attend at a reduced rate
