Do you want to present at the 2017 NOFA/Mass Winter Conference? There are just a few days left to propose a workshop - the deadline for submissions is Friday, September 16th.

The NOFA/Mass Winter Conference (January 14, at Worcester State University) brings together nearly a thousand farmers, gardeners, homesteaders, bee keepers, scientists, food activists, landscape designers, and land managers - all to serve the goal of sharing practical knowledge.

This year we anticipate a popular and inspiring keynote address from Paul and Elizabeth Kaiser of Singing Frogs Farm in Sebastapol, CA. The couple are nationally known for the profitability, productivity, and drought-resistance of their 8-acre no-till farm. They will share how they designed their farm to be resilient in a time of climate change and increasing water scarcity.

Come be part of the conversation! Propose your workshop by filling out this simple online form. (Having trouble with the online form? You can request an offline form).

All presenters receive a $50 honorarium per workshop, free registration to the conference, and lunch. For guidance on your topic or other questions about your submission, feel free to contact Caro, Winter Conference Workshop Coordinator, at 508-360-0874 or ca...@nofamass.org.

Registration for the conference will open around October 15, stay tuned for more info!

Thanks!

I have started a Transition group in the past (Easthampton MA) and have been studying Transition groups for almost ten years. Please get in touch with me: sbart...@gmail.com
