Greetings Neighbors,
Here are two reminders and a couple of updates!
Holiday Time
Reminder: Package Deliveries. It's that time of year when holiday festivities begin and so many deliveries are made! PLEASE remember to ask that packages be delivered in spaces that are not viewed from the street, or if possible, have them delivered to your place of work or arrange for a neighbor to take them in for you when they arrive. Lt Borer is aware that there are package thieves in our Wooster Square neighborhood and he is arranging additional coverage during the day when it's possible to deter and/or catch these annoying folks!

New Teaching Initiative - Yale Teaching Fellowship
"Yale has partnered with Southern Connecticut State University, New Haven Public Schools, and New Haven Promise to create a fellowship program that will train high-quality teachers from diverse backgrounds and promote long-term retention for New Haven Public Schools. The Yale Teaching Fellowship supports graduate study for current and aspiring educators who, upon completion of the program, commit to teaching in New Haven Public Schools for at least three years, helping to address teacher shortage areas in the district. This is a $10 million investment that will place more than 100 teachers with Master’s degrees in the city’s schools over four years. Applications for the inaugural cohort are open now and close January 1st."
Have a safe and warm holiday season, 🕊️❄️🕊️🎄🕎🕊️
