Dear Neighbors,

I-95 is closed for 30 miles centered around Norwalk where there was a serious crash that involved a gas spill / fire between Exits 15-14 early this morning. The fire was put out by 8:30am, but there are investigations still happening to assure structural integrity of a bridge.
Please check the news updates for when the highway reopens, and seek alternative routes to bypass I-95.

Here are a few other community updates you might want to know about.

Public Safety
There were numerous public safety issues in Wooster Square this past two weeks as found in the online NH Compstat Report for 4/15-4/23/24.
Here's the rundown:
  • 4.17.24 - 31 Jefferson Street - Burglary, Breaking & Entering at 3:36pm
  • 4.22.24 - 180 Wooster Street/DePalma Court - Larceny from Vehicle at 9:35am
  • 4.27.24 - 567 Chapel Street - Larceny from Vehicle at 12:55am
  • 4.27.24 - 1 Hughes Place/Greene Street - Larceny from Vehicle at 2:35am
  • 4.28.24 - 57 Olive Street - Intimidation with a weapon at 7:17am
As the weather warms up, please remember to lock your cars and keep valuables out of sight to avoid car break-ins. Sometimes people randomly just walk by cars and try to open doors until they find one to rob.
