Hi everyone, this is Mayor Justin Elicker with information about a COVID-19 at-home tests. Por favor espere para escuchar este mensaje en español.

Earlier this week the federal government officially launched the website where Americans can order, for free, 4 rapid at-home COVID-19 tests. These tests will be distributed directly to Americans through the postal service. According to the federal website the tests take 7-12 days to ship, so you should order them before you need them.

Go to www.covidtests.gov and click Order Free At-Home Tests. There you’ll be asked to complete a short form to complete your (free) order.

For additional COVID-19 resources check out the City’s Covid website at covid19.newhavenct.gov/ or call: 203-946-6999 for more information. Please also remember to mask up while in public spaces and get your booster if you haven’t done so already.

Hola a todos, soy el alcalde Justin Elicker con información sobre las pruebas caseras de COVID-19.

A principios de esta semana, el gobierno federal lanzó oficialmente la página web donde los americanos pueden solicitar, de forma gratuita, cuatro pruebas rápidas de COVID-19 caseras. Estas pruebas se distribuirán directamente a los americanos a través del servicio postal. Según la página web federal, las pruebas tardan entre 7 y 12 días en enviarse, por lo que debe solicitarlas antes de necesitarlas.

Vaya a www.covidtests.gov y haga clic en “Ordene pruebas caseras gratuitas”. Ahí se le pedirá que complete un breve formulario para completar su pedido (gratuito).

Para obtener recursos adicionales de COVID-19, consulte la página web de Covid de la ciudad en www.covid19.newhavenct.gov/ o llame al: 203-946-6999 para obtener más información. Recuerde también usar una mascarilla en espacios públicos y obtener su dosis de refuerzo si aún no lo ha hecho.
