Greetings all -
Here are a few neighborhood activities you can get involved in and make new friends!
Join the Watering Team for Historic Wooster Square Park Trees 🌳
🌳 New neighbors have moved into Wooster Square Park and they need your help! 🌳
We're looking for volunteers to water the newly planted trees as they get established and put down roots in our community. Each tree needs 25 gallons, once a week, but you'll only need to commit 2 hours at a time! Equipment and instructions are provided and flexible scheduling can be tailored to find a time that works for you.
This is a community partnership between the Historic Wooster Square Association, the Wooster Square Conservancy, the New Haven Parks Department, Urban Resources Initiative, and neighbors like YOU!

St Andrew Apostle Society's 126th Anniversary Italia Festa - June 25 - June 28th
The St. Andrew Apostle Society will proudly host its 126th Anniversary Italian Festa from Thursday, June 25, through Sunday, June 28, at the Society grounds located at 515 Chapel Street in New Haven’s Historic Wooster Square. This celebration honors the Amalfi Coast heritage, Italian-American traditions, and the enduring spirit of the New Haven community. Notably, the Feast of St. Andrew is now the only remaining traditional Italian festival in the Greater New Haven area — making this year’s milestone celebration especially meaningful. Festival attendees can enjoy: • Free admission • Authentic Italian food and pastries • Live musical entertainment • Craft and specialty vendors • Family-friendly cultural traditions • Community scholarship initiatives for local students Event Hours: • Thursday, June 25 | 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM • Friday, June 26 | 5:00 PM – 10:00 PM • Saturday, June 27 | 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM and • Sunday, June 28 | 3:00 PM – 8:00 PM.
