Good Morning Neighbors,

Here are a few updates for a winter’s day!

Public Safety
There was one public safety event reported in this week's Compstat Report for the first two weeks of February. Often I hear that there are other events that occur in Wooster Square, but that neighbors don't make police reports. Please remind friends and family that it is important to make these reports so that public safety events can be tracked and hopefully solved with police support.

Here is this week's event reported in the Compstat Report:
  • Motor Vehicle Theft - 2.9.26 at 5:21pm - 108 Olive Street at Greene Street
Potential Nor’easter
I haven’t received notice from the city yet about the potential nor’easter expected tomorrow into Monday, but will forward that when (or if) it comes.

In the meantime, please plan ahead to move your cars if needed off the streets to public parking garages ($3/day) or school lots (Conte West at 511 Chapel St) and remember there is NO Parking on Odd Sides of the Street when Snow Emergencies are called. If your car is one of the few still left in a snow mound - move it please so that plowing can be effective. Towing will happen, as we have learned.

See Below: some things to do in New Haven TODAY and in coming days.

Stay safe and warm as winter is still with us ❄️ ☃️❄️
