Here are some updates to share ...
PUBLIC SAFETY
I have some Compstat Report updates from Aug18-31 to share related to Wooster Square. There were three (3) issues to report during that time period:
- 8/19/25 - 109 Water Street - burglary-breaking & entering at 5:42am
- 8/22/25 - 240 Greene Street - motor vehicle theft - 12:12am
- 8/26/25 - 673 Chapel Street - larceny from vehicle at 9:34am
Please remember to keep your cars locked and also remember to report any incidents to 911 or the non-emergency policy number below depending on the incident.
NEIGHBORHOOD LEADERS SOUGHT
Please take a look at this article from the Independent about a program at the Community Foundation of Greater New Haven recruiting potential neighborhood residents to become effective neighborhood leaders. Wooster Square is a growing vibrant neighborhood with opportunities for new leadership. While the information session was held last week, the applications become available today.
