In celebrating its Amalfi heritage and traditions, the St. Andrew's Apostle Society in Wooster Square is NOW hosting their Annual Italian Festival in honor of St. Andrew through Sunday, June 29th, at the club grounds in Historic Wooster Square on 515 Chapel St. THE FEAST OF ST. ANDREW IS THE ONLY REMAINING ITALIAN FESTIVAL IN THE GREATER NEW HAVEN AREA! Can you say CENTOVENTICINQU’ANNI? How about QUASQUICENTENIAL? No matter the language, this year the Society is celebrating a monumental milestone: 125 YEARS of history, resilience, community, and TRADITION!! While much has changed in 125 years, one thing remains constant: the Society's unwavering spirit and dedication to its roots. At the St. Andrew Festival, you will enjoy FREE ADMISSION, great Italian food, live musical entertainment, and craft vendors. Scholarships will also be given away to local high school students in the surrounding community. Event Hours are as follows: Tonight, Friday June 27st from 5pm-11pm, Saturday June 28th from 3pm-11pm. and Sunday June 29rd from 3pm-10pm.
