New chairman of Chinese Association

I'm glad to announce that Ella Lin from OARDC is our new chairman for Chinese Association now.  I believe she will bring more wonderful activities for the Chinese community at Wooster. Hopping everyone can support her work in the future.

Hi all,

I'm happy to take over this job for 2016. And I'm looking forward to working with everybody on all the events throughout this year.

The first upcoming event will be on Thursday, March 3rd. OARDC is going to have a Celebration of Nations. As many of you already know, our association have always been heavily involved that we have displayed items to show Chinese culture and we also had performances. This year, as always, I would like to welcome everybody to share your cooking, books, pictures, decorations, dresses, music or anything to show our culture on the display. Please let me know if you have things to share and I can have them organized ahead of time. As for the performance, our star Zhao Lu will perform PiPa, and our Kungfu group will perform Nanquan and fist set. If you would also like to perform please let me know by the end of this week.

Please come and join us on March 3rd and enjoy all different culture and cuisine!
