Does anybody who was at Woomera in the early sixties remember the Arts & Drama Group? I met with local residents Tony and Paula Odlum and was asked to help out with lighting a 'topical' review called "Blue Freaks and Black Tights".

It was highly successful and I subsequently directed a couple of plays for the group and appeared in a third one. They were "The Captain's Table" (farce), "Bell Book and Candle" (light comedy) and "Night Must Fall" (a thriller).

I still have a pewter mug given to me by the company and engraved "To Chris,...producer of "The Middle Watch", with thanks! Woomera 1963. And of course it seems like only yesterday.
